Xerxes, a ZCL Company, is currently recruiting for the role of Maintenance Supervisor. This position will be based out of our Xerxes Anaheim (1210 North Tustin Ave, Anaheim, CA) manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities include:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all maintenance activities, as well as everyday maintenance and security of the plant including the building, land, equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain and repair equipment used during production of underground and above storage tanks
- Practice preventive maintenance by monitoring all equipment used during production
- Maintain and rebuild portable tools, compressors, heaters, welders, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment or machines
- Maintain electrical, plumbing, , compressed air systems, and all heating and cooling equipment throughout the plant to run efficiently at all times
- Maintain and monitor all equipment and building regulations to comply with Company and Federal, State safety standards
- Follows proper safety practices in handling materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain and/or arrange for maintenance of fire sprinkler system, static electricity arresters, and fire doors
- Perform routine maintenance on Company vehicles, forklifts and cranes
- Fabricate jigs, fixtures and/or tools to assist manufacturing and production
- Assist with subcontracting maintenance work where necessary including liaising with third parties such as vendors, sub-contractors and other Xerxes facilities
- Assist management with plant security company assets
- Train production employees on equipment maintenance and minor adjustments, as needed
- Develop and implement SOP’s, projects and cost savings improvements
- Maintain compliance with established company forms and data reporting documents and take corrective action concerning deficiencies.
- Communicate with internal and external parties to gather and resolve maintenance issues
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment critical to the operation
- Manage the daily activities and tasks of the Maintenance team on both shifts and the ability to work both shifts as needed
- Set up and implement preventative maintenance practices, where needed
- Familiar with 6S and continuous improvement
- Highly organized, detailed oriented and ability to troubleshoot and systematically apply corrective actions
- Ability to multitask multiple projects and adhere to completion deadlines and stay within budget
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. Suitable experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement
- A minimum of 2-5 years maintenance experience is required. Experienced maintenance work includes electrical, plumbing, ventilation, welding, and pump rebuilding
- A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience is required
- Basic computer skills including an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A team player with a strong work ethic, and a high sense of values, principles and integrity
- Bilingual English/Spanish
