Xerxes, a ZCL Company, is currently recruiting for the role of Inventory/Receiver. This position will be based out of our Tipton, IA (515 West South Street) manufacturing facility. Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Inventory/Receiver is responsible for all receiving and inventory control of parts and consumables, maintaining accurate paperwork, and keeping warehouse and parts crib organized and neat. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receives, labels and dispenses inventory to appropriate areas
  • Maintains all parts inventory in an organized manner and completes a monthly parts inventory
  • Verifies material and supply receipts with purchase orders and vendor packaging list and ensures received material and supply are the correct quantity and meet Xerxes quality standards
  • Monitors inventory levels of supplies and materials and initiate inventory requisitions to replenish supply as needed
  • Complete properly all shop order documents, bills of lading, packaging lists, address labels, handling instructions, etc. for LTL and UPS shipments
  • Maintains all documentation of logs, process sheets, time cards, etc. accurately and timely
  • Operates all hand tools, power tools, material handling equipment and machinery proficiently and safely
  • Labels drums and other containers of mixed resin with required information for use during production
  • Prepares field kit materials for packaging and shipment
  • Ensures that all drums are drained and transports to empty drum storage area
  • Properly handles, stores, and labels hazardous/nonhazardous waste materials
  • Maintains work area neat, clean, and fee of debris

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; Post-secondary education or courses with a business or manufacturing focus would be an asset
  • Good understanding of the English language including verbal, written, and reading skills
  • Must be well organized
  • Must be capable of safely and efficiently operating a fork lift
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as part of a team
  • Ability to learn new tools and equipment
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good mathematical and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a plant environment
  • Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces when required
  • Ability to work variable hours including shift work
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 20-50 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
